Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability and reliability by providing an automatic paper loading function in a paper winder used in a slip issuing machine or the like, and easily pulling out the wound-up paper without a change in shaft diameter of a take-up shaft. CONSTITUTION:A paper winder includes a take-up shaft 1, driving portions 7, 8, 9, 10 for rotating the take-up shaft in the winding direction, and take-up guide members 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d disposed in such a manner as to guide the winding start end of paper fed out from a paper transport path along the peripheral surface of the take-up shaft 1. The take-up shaft 1 has the first portion 4a having the peripheral surface having a comparatively large coefficient of friction with paper and the second portion 4b having the peripheral surface having a comparatively small coefficient of friction between both side flanges 3a, 3b. The take-up guide members 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d are provided with pressure portions 14a, 14d for pressing paper between the first member 4a and the pressure portions.

This operation may be performed several times a day, such as when the paper is used up and a new one is loaded, or when the paper jams and the paper is reloaded. There was a lot of fear. For this reason, there has long been a desire to put into practical use a paper winding device with good operability and an automatic loading function that automatically winds the paper around the winding shaft when loading the paper.

A paper winding device with an automatic loading function that has already been put into practical use consists of a rubber sleeve in which the paper winding section of the winding shaft is divided into multiple segments, and a coil spring is wrapped around the rubber sleeve. With conical clamps placed on both end faces of the paper and tightened in the axial direction to enlarge the shaft diameter, the winding start end of the paper guided by the winding guide member is pulled by using friction with the rubber sleeve. There is one that is wound around the take-up shaft. With this device, the friction between the rolled paper and the rubber sleeve is too great to remove the rolled paper as it is, so the rubber sleeve is untightened by the clamp and the shaft diameter is adjusted. Paper is extracted in the reduced state, but after paper is removed, it takes time to return the reduced shaft diameter to its original state and make it ready for winding. It was necessary to provide a large space around the winding shaft.

From this, in order to prevent paper from slipping, it is not necessary to make the entire paper winding section of the winding shaft made of rubber as in the conventional example, and instead, as in this embodiment, a part of the paper winding section 4a is made of rubber. It can be seen that it is sufficient to make only the paper from a material such as rubber that has a relatively large coefficient of friction with the paper, and to press the paper against this part.

Figure (a) shows the state in which the paper 2 is wound on the winding shaft l, and Figure 5 (bl is a diagram showing the state in which the detachable part 4c at one end of the winding shaft is pulled out. Most of the rolled paper 2 is Since the second portion 4b of the winding shaft has a relatively small coefficient of friction between the winding shaft and the winding shaft, the winding shaft can be easily removed.

In this embodiment, the outer diameter of the first portion 4a, which has a relatively large coefficient of friction with the paper, is made smaller than the outer diameter of the second portion 4b, which has a relatively small coefficient of friction with the paper, and the paper is removed. However, even if the outer diameters of the first portion 4a and the second portion 4b are the same, the ratio of the first portion 4a to the entire paper winding portion is Because it is small, paper removal is not obstructed. In particular, when the structure is such that the finger can be placed on the inside of the rolled paper as in this embodiment, the circumferential surface of the first portion 4a is connected to the second portion 4.
Even if it is partially higher than the circumferential surface of b,
Experiments have confirmed that paper extraction is possible.

According to this embodiment, there is no need to change the diameter of the winding shaft when taking out the paper unlike in the conventional example in which the entire paper winding part is made of rubber. It is easy to operate, and the space around the winding shaft is small because all you have to do is pull it out toward you. It is also mechanically simple and highly reliable.

The slit positioning sensor 43 is a photoelectric or electromagnetic position sensor, and detects that the position of the slit 34 coincides with the paper transport path when either one of the protrusions 42a or 42b faces the slit positioning sensor 43. It is something to do. When loading paper, if the slit 34 is not in a position that matches the paper transport path based on the signal from the slit positioning sensor 43, the winding motor is driven and the winding is continued until the slit 34 matches the paper transport path. Rotate the shaft 31 to remove the kudzu. After positioning is completed, paper guide member 3
The paper 41 is fed into the slit 34 from the paper conveyance path formed in step 5.36, and after the paper 41 passes through the slit 34 as shown in FIG. Automatic loading is complete.

35' and 36' indicate the positions of the winding guide members 35 and 36 when the paper reaches the maximum winding diameter 32, and the rolled paper 41 can be unrolled by removing the front flange (not shown). It is extracted from the shaft 41. In this case, since the frictional resistance between the take-up shaft and the paper is relatively small, the removal of the paper is not hindered.

Figures 9 to 11 show a case where a slit positioning sensor is used to align the slit provided on the winding shaft with the paper conveyance path in the same way as above, but a winding guide member is attached to a part of the outer periphery of the winding shaft. Another example will be shown in which the positioning of the slit can be performed more reliably by providing an engaging portion for the slit.

That is, in the example shown in FIG.
.. 48, and the position of the slit 34 is determined by mechanical engagement with the tips 35a and 36a of the winding guide members 35 and 36. In the example shown in FIG. A concave portion 49 that matches the shape of the tip 36a of the winding shaft 36 is provided, and the slit 34 is positioned by mechanical engagement of these portions. The example shown in FIG. 50, which is a hole or recess 51 provided at the tip end 36a of the paper guide member 36.
The position A of the slit 34 is determined by engaging with the paper guide members 35 and 36. With this structure, the position of the slit 34 can be accurately aligned with the paper conveyance path formed by the paper guide members 35 and 36 when paper is loaded. This improves the reliability of the automatic loading function.

According to the present invention, the take-up shaft has a first portion having a circumferential surface having a relatively large coefficient of friction with the paper, and a circumferential surface having a relatively small coefficient of friction with the paper. Since a second portion is provided to press the paper between the first portion and a pressing portion provided on the winding guide member, the frictional force between the first portion and the paper is applied when loading the paper. It is possible to prevent the paper from slipping and ensure that the paper is wound around the take-up shaft. On the other hand, since the first portion occupies a small proportion of the entire paper winding section, when the paper is taken out, the paper is wrapped around the take-up shaft. It is possible to easily remove the wound paper from the winding shaft without changing the diameter, and it is possible to realize a paper winding device equipped with an automatic loading function that is highly reliable and easy to operate.
