    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 吸・排気弁の開閉時期の相対位相を可変作動するバルブ
    タイミング可変装置と、機関の負荷状態を含む機関の運
    転状態を検出する手段と、該検出手段の検出信号に基づ
    き吸・排気弁の開閉時期の相対位相を決定するバルブタ
    イミング決定手段と、該決定手段の出力に応じて前記バ
    ルブタイミング可変装置を作動する駆動手段と、前記機
    関運転状態検出手段の検出信号を受けて機関の無負荷運
    転を判定する手段と、該無負荷判定手段が無負荷運転を
    判定した時に吸・排気弁の開閉時期を所定値に固定すべ
    く駆動手段に出力する無負荷領域バルブタイミングクラ
    ンプ手段と、を設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関のバル
    ブタイミング制御装置。
