板と、該第１の基板のセグメント電極に対して液
晶物質を値在して対向する一枚のコモン電極を有
する第２の基板と、上記各セグメント電極毎に対
応したカラーモザイクフイルタと、からなるカラ
ー液晶表示装置に於いて、上記第１基板の同一ド
レインラインにスイツチングトランジスタを介し
て結合したセグメント電極はそのドレインライン
に対して交互に振り分けられたジグザグ配置をな
し、同一ドレインラインのセグメント電極のジグ
ザグ配置に対応して同一色のカラーセグメントフ
イルタを配置せしめた事を特徴とするカラー液晶
