[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a method for producing a film with an uneven pattern suitable for producing a decorative board with the texture of natural wood, for example, when copying the uneven pattern of an original plate using a curable synthetic resin. , a reinforcing cloth is placed on an uncured curable synthetic resin, and the reinforcing cloth is impregnated with the curable synthetic resin and cured integrally to improve the mechanical strength and flexibility of the mold. It is.

In the past, many attempts have been made to give decorative laminates the same texture as natural wood or other materials. Among these methods, a mold is formed using silicone resin to form and hold the uneven pattern on the surface of a material such as natural wood, and the mold is aligned on the surface of the decorative board material on which the color pattern of the material is formed. The method of pressing the material to form an uneven pattern on the surface of the decorative board is widely used because it has a high reproducibility of the texture of the material. However, in this method, when aligning the embossing die with the uneven pattern and the decorative laminate material on which the colored pattern is formed, the color pattern is seen through from above the die. It must be thick enough to be transparent (approximately 0.2 to 0.3 mm). In addition, flexibility is required because defoaming must be performed after alignment. That is, in order to satisfy transparency, the film thickness must be reduced. If it is made too thin, the mold will be damaged during demolding.
If reinforced to prevent breakage, it would have the disadvantage of decreasing flexibility and making defoaming difficult.

This invention was made in view of the above circumstances,
To provide a method for producing a patterned film for pressing dies, which can increase mechanical strength and flexibility without impairing the transparency of the dies, and is easy to defoam without being damaged when the dies are released. This method is characterized by placing a reinforcing cloth on a curable synthetic resin such as a silicone resin while the resin is uncured, and allowing the resin to penetrate into the reinforcing cloth and hardening it.

FIGS. 1 to 4 show an example of the method for producing a film with an uneven pattern according to the present invention in the order of steps. Reference numeral 1 in the figure is an original plate intended to reproduce the uneven pattern and color pattern, and natural wood with regular grains is mainly used. First, as shown in FIG. 1, a curable synthetic resin liquid 3 such as an uncured liquid silicone resin containing a curing agent is applied to the surface of the uneven pattern 2 on the surface of the original plate 1 to a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2 mm. It is applied to a certain extent. Next, as shown in FIG. 2, before the curable synthetic resin liquid 3 has hardened,
A reinforcing cloth 4 having a size sufficient to cover the entire resin liquid 3 is placed on the curable synthetic resin liquid 3. As the reinforcing cloth 4, a relatively coarse woven cloth (for example, Tetron fiber mesh 90#) made of high-strength fibers such as polyester fibers is used. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 3, a new curable synthetic resin liquid 5 is applied onto the reinforcing cloth 4. It is sufficient for the coating thickness of this curable synthetic resin liquid 5 to be about 0.1 mm.
The reinforcing cloth 4 is lightly pressed with a roller or the like so that the curable synthetic resin liquid 5 penetrates well. When the curable synthetic resin liquids 3 and 5 are sufficiently cured, the stamp 6 of the uneven patterned film in which the curable synthetic resins 3 and 5 and the reinforcing cloth 4 are integrated is peeled off from the original plate 1. (Fig. 4) The stamp 6 made of the film with the uneven pattern thus obtained has an uneven pattern 2' that faithfully copies the uneven pattern 2 of the original plate 1, and in which the uneven pattern is shaped in the opposite direction. Since the reinforcing cloth 4 is sandwiched between the curable synthetic resins 3 and 5, it has high mechanical strength and flexibility, and the film thickness is 0.2~
At 1.0mm, it has the transparency necessary for alignment.

The original plate 1 is color-separated and photographed at its original size, and a separated negative obtained is used for plate making printing using a conventional method to produce decorative paper 7 that reproduces the color pattern of the original plate 1. This decorative paper 7 is then coated with an adhesive 8. A decorative board material 10 bonded to a substrate 9 such as round plywood is prepared. The surface of the decorative paper 7 of this decorative board material 10 is coated with a transparent liquid unsaturated polyester resin 1 containing a hardening agent.
1 is applied. Next, as shown in FIG. 5, the uneven pattern 2' of the stamping die 6 is directed toward the decorative paper 7, and the uneven pattern 2' of the stamping die 6 and the color pattern of the decorative paper 7 are aligned by visual inspection from the back side of the stamping die 6. The mold 6 is pressed onto the liquid unsaturated polyester resin 11 so as not to shift its position. Then, the mold 6 is pressed by a roller or the like, and the air bubbles in the liquid unsaturated polyester resin 11 are defoamed, and the uneven pattern 2' of the mold 6 is formed into the liquid unsaturated polyester resin 11. Then, after the unsaturated polyester resin 11 is cured, the mold 6 is peeled off from the cured unsaturated polyester resin 11 to obtain the desired decorative board 12. (Fig. 6) In this way, the press die 6 has sufficient transparency necessary for alignment, and has increased mechanical strength and flexibility, so alignment can be performed easily and with high precision. A decorative board 12 that faithfully reproduces the uneven pattern 2 and color pattern of the original plate 1 is obtained. In addition, the press die 6
The mold 6 can be easily peeled off from the cured unsaturated polyester resin 11, and damage during peeling can be prevented.
The service life of the product is extended. Further, it is no longer necessary to take great care in handling the mold 6, and its storage becomes easy.

In addition, although the decorative board 12 using the unsaturated polyester resin 11 was described in the above description, thermosetting resins, such as diallyl phthalate resin, may be used in addition to this.
