Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower the center of gravity of the body of a saddle-ridden vehicle with a radiator, by connecting a cooling water supply pipe to the top of the radiator, connecting the bottoms of the portions of the radiator to each other, and connecting a cooling water drain pipe to the radiator on the side not near the expanded portion of an exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:A cooling water supply pipe 13 for an engine 4 is connected to both the portions 5a, 5b of a radiator through branch pipes 13a, 13b. The bottoms of both the radiator portions 5a, 5b are connected to each other through a communication pipe 14. 後に通ずスペースを確保する必要がある。しかも上記導
水管と排気管との接触干渉を避Ljるため、ζη導水管
排気管との間にもスペースが必要になり、そのためラジ
ェータ装置をかなり高い位置に設置することを余儀なく
される。特に、2ザイクルエンジンの場合には排気管の
膨張部がラジェータ部下方を通過するため、その大きな
膨張部を加た分だけ更に高い位置になる。その結果、車
体重心が上方に移動し、車体の安定性を悪くすることに
なる。
