The orthopedic fixation bandage uses materials such as baked ceracola, thermoplastic resin, photocurable resin, and water-curable resin as hardening components.
A fixed bandage is wrapped around the affected area, such as a cotton bandage or gauze bandage, and the bandage is allowed to harden. Afterwards, the fixed bandage may be applied partially or completely to treat the affected area, or after the affected area has healed. It will be necessary to cut and remove it. The so-called cast cutter conventionally used for this purpose transmits micro-vibration rotation converted from the rotational movement of a motor to a disc-shaped saw with a cutting edge on one periphery. Another widely used method is to make a cut towards the bandage and gradually move the saw along the bandage. Because this cutter uses an ultra-high-speed machine 4-axis rotation system, the cutter itself vibrates violently, and if the operator continues to operate it for a little while, the operator may even lose feeling in his or her hands. -fz fy spring/k

7'= fr J' night 41 is unfavorable, and more particularly, because it appears to the patient that the disk-shaped saw is rotating at high speed, it causes a tremendous sense of fear to the patient, especially the young patient. be. Apart from these points, since this type of cutter must be operated while visually measuring the depth of cut, the operator must not use excessive nerves to avoid injuring the patient's body. However, it has the drawback of requiring force and cutting time.To solve this problem, a guide is installed at a certain distance from the disc-shaped saw.
This guide explains how to prevent the saw from coming into contact with the patient's body, or how to insert a conductor inside the fixation bandage.
Methods have been proposed to issue an alarm if the saw cuts too deep and comes into contact with the conductor. However, even if such a method is adopted, as long as a disc-shaped saw blade of an ultra-high-speed micro-vibration rotation type is used, the above-mentioned drawbacks associated therewith cannot be solved at all. In addition, due to the use of such a saw blade, the chips generated during cutting are scattered over a wide area, so there is the disadvantage that a fairly large dust collection device must be added.

According to the present invention, this purpose is achieved by having a rotary blade in the shape of a round bar having a cutting or grinding function on its side surface, and a safety guide that faces the rotation B and whose tip protrudes from the tip of the rotary blade. Achieved 11 degrees.

Providing a safety tip at the tip of the rotary blade is advantageous because even if the tip of the rotary blade should come into contact with the patient, there will be no danger. This safety chip can be made of plastic and have a round shape with low surface contact resistance.

When an auxiliary blade is installed on the side of the safety guide, the cotton bandage or gauze bandage wrapped under the fixed color band can be attached to this auxiliary blade C.
Since the blade is cut in two directions, it is possible to reliably prevent the cotton bandage or gauze bandage from becoming entangled with the rotating blade and causing the rotating blade to stop. In this case, if the auxiliary blade is configured to form scissors with the auxiliary blade and the side surface of the rotary blade, the cotton bandage that has entered between the auxiliary blade and the rotary blade will be automatically cut as the @Tan H rotates.

In addition, by providing a cutting blade on the tip surface of the rotary blade, it is possible to cut holes not only from the side of the open end of the fixed bandage but also from the upper side of the fixed bandage.
.. This is advantageous for cutting out a part of the inner part of the body. In this case, the safety guide will protrude beyond the tip of the rotary blade if left as it is and will get in the way, so it is necessary to remove the safety guide or make it possible to flip it upwards, at least when drilling the first hole. .

Figure 2 shows various examples of rotary blades, including the rotary blade 5 in Figure 2a.
The rotating blade 7 shown in Fig. 2 is a round bar with a cutting blade 6 running diagonally on the side surface of a straight round bar from the upper end to the lower end, and the rotating blade 7 in Figure 2 is a round bar with a curved surface concave toward the outside from the upper end to the lower end. The rotary blade 9 shown in Fig. 2C is provided with cutting edges 8 diagonally crossing each other, and the rotary blade 9 shown in Fig. 2C is provided with cutting edges 10 diagonally crossing the side surface of a round bar having a cross section that is convex toward the outside from the upper end to the lower end. The rotary blade 11 shown in Fig. 2 d is a round bar that is straight from the upper end to the lower end, and has two cutting edges 12 that intersect diagonally C on the side surface, and a safety tip J3 is provided at the tip, Fig. 2 e. rotating blade】4
The cutting edge 15 on the side is the same as that shown in Fig. 2a, but the tip also has a cutting edge 16, and the rotary blade 17 in Fig. 2f is a straight round bar from the upper end to the lower end. A large number of abrasive cutting blades 18 are installed on the side surface of the blade. The rotary blade has a thickness of, for example, 2 to 10 mm, preferably a blade of 3 to 6 m, and a length of 5 to 6 m.
It is advantageous to use an ultra-hard material consisting of: Note that various conventionally used cutting or grinding blades can be used as the cutting edges on the side surface and the tip surface.

FIG. 3 shows various examples of safety guides. As shown in Fig. 3 at 2, the safety guide is typically made of gold or plastic and has a cross-sectional shape, and is located at a position slightly protruding from the tip of the rotary blade 19 in the longitudinal direction of the rotary blade 19. A support portion 20 that extends to partially surround the rotary blade 19 and has a width that is approximately equal to or slightly larger than the rotary blade 19, and a protection portion 21 that extends toward the distal end of the rotary blade 19 at approximately right angles to the support portion 20. have. The support part 20 may be provided with an auxiliary blade 22 on its side depending on the case, and the auxiliary blade 22 and the rotary blade 19 have a scissors effect when the rotary blade rotates, as shown in the plan view of FIG. placed in such a position. FIG. 5 shows the state in which the cutter of the present invention is used, in which the tip of the rotary blade 29 is applied to the open end 28 of the fixed bandage 27 wrapped around the surface of the human body 26. At this time, since the protective portion 31 of the safety guide 30 is on the surface side of the human body 26, there is no possibility that the tip of the single-turn blade 29 will come into contact with the human body. In this state, when the rotary blade is rotated and moved in the direction of the arrow along the surface of the fixed bandage 27, the fixed bandage 27 is cut.

The rotary blade of the cutter according to the present invention (2) is rod-shaped and only rotates, so most of the chips generated during cutting are concentrated in the inverted conical ring C2 with the cutting part as the apex. When connecting (=, it is sufficient to provide a very small dust collector suction port on the top of the single-turn blade, and the capacity of the dust collector main body may also be small.
