Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce draft resistance and to decrease a noise level, by a method wherein a plurality of guide vanes are disposed throughout the entire periphery on the multivane blower side of a heat exchanger, and the flow of the air from the multivane blower is directed in a direction extending orthogonal to each part of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 1 is constituted such that a plurality of copper pipes 4 are interposed in a number of aluminum fins 5, aligned parallel to each other at intervals, and are located opposite to each other and in a manner to surround the whole periphery of a multivane blower 1. A guide vane 6 is secured to the copper pipe 4 on the multivane blower 2 side of the heat exchanger 1, and the vane is disposed, taking the direction of the curve of the guide vane 6 into consideration, so that the flow of the air from the multivane blower 2 is directed in a direction extending orthogonal to each part of the heat exchanger 1. This constitution causes the flow of the air from the multivane blower 2 to be uniformized as shown by an arrow mark by means of the guide vane 6 and enables the air to collide with each part of the heat exchanger 1 at right angles, resulting in reduction of draft resistance and in reduction of the generation of noise.
