知を順次に行なわせる第１のプログラムおよび前記ルー
プ回路閉成の故障検知を行なわせる第２のプログラムを
格納した記憶装置と、前記公衆電話機の１ラフツクによ
り前記第１のプログラムを読み出し前記検査箇所の初期
状態を瞬時の間にチェックして故障の有無を判断すると
共に、°“故障なじめ判断結果を得たときのみ硬貨の蓄
積を許容したうえ硬貨蓄積後の瞬時に前記第２のプログ
ラムを読み出して前記ループ回−路閉成のチェックを行
ない該チェック結果に基づいてダイヤル発信を許容する
プロセッサとを備えたことを特徴とする自己診断式公衆
