In the above-mentioned doors, etc., the surface edges arranged vertically and horizontally along the inner periphery of the door frame grip the peripheral edge of the glass plate fitted into the door frame and fix the glass plate to the door frame. However, it is necessary to connect the vertical and horizontal edges at right angles at door frame corners, etc., and conventionally, the ends of the edges to be connected are diagonally 45 degrees. After cutting at an angle, the angularly cut ends of the edges on both sides are butt-jointed together to form a picture frame, and the edges on both sides are secured with screws at the joining points.

しかし、面縁端部の角度切り精度に狂いがある場合には

However, if the angular cutting accuracy of the surface edge ends is inconsistent, a gap is created at the end abutment boundary of both sides of the edges, which is not only unsightly in appearance, but also has the disadvantage of impairing the smoothness.

In addition, while it is relatively easy to cut a face edge at right angles, cutting it at an angle is difficult, so generally face edges are shipped from the factory with both edges cut at an angle. When assembling and connecting equal-surface edges, it is necessary to modify the dimensions of the same-surface edges in accordance with the dimensions of the door frame, etc., and there is a problem in that the dimension correction work cannot be easily carried out at the construction site.

The present invention eliminates such inconveniences, and also makes it possible to attach and detach the face edge from the outer frame of a door etc. when the glass plate is attached. Therefore, when the face edge is removed from the outer frame, the glass plate can be removed from the door frame. It is an object of the present invention to provide a right angle connection device for face edges that can be replaced without needing to be replaced.

In connecting the face edge members 5 and 5 of these vertical frames, as shown in FIG. A beveled edge 20 is formed by cutting at an angle of 45 degrees between the side top and the hem to protrude forward, and at the same time, the inner corner of this beveled edge 20 is chamfered to form an iron chamfer. As a result, the beveled edge 20 is sharpened as shown in the figure, and a sharp slope 21 is formed at the inner corner portion to be in close contact with the outer surface of the sloped wall portion 11 of the opposite side edge member 5.

In this way, although the longitudinal and lateral double-sided edge members 5, 5 are constructed from sections having the same cross-sectional shape, the beveled edge 20 of the angled end portion 24 is aligned with the side surface of the inclined wall portion of the right-angled end portion 23 in the above-mentioned fitted position. The double-sided edge members 5, 5 are joined accurately and at right angles, and no looseness occurs between the double-sided edge members 5, 5.

In addition, since the beveled edge 20 is sharpened by chamfering and formed into a sharp slope 21, the sharp slope 21 is brought into close contact with the outer surface of the slope wall 11 of the right-angled end 23 in the above-mentioned joined state, so that the angle No step is formed at the joint between the cut end 24 and the right-angled end 23, and the contact area between the ends 23 and 24 is increased by the width of the sharp slope 21, resulting in a double-sided edge member 5,
The bonding force of No. 5 is improved.

In connecting the edge members 5 and 5 in this way, instead of cutting both edge members on both sides to be connected at an angle and butting them together as in the conventional method, only the end of one edge member 5 is cut at an angle. In addition, since the ends of the other side edge member 5 are made to be right-angled ends and these are to be fitted together, the four side edge members 5 are formed into a rectangular frame as shown in FIG. In order to connect each face edge member in a shape, one end of each face edge member needs to be cut at an angle 24 and the other end is a right angle end 23, and there is no need to cut both ends at an angle of 45 degrees. When assembling by attaching ... to the vertical frame 3a etc., for example, the surface edge member 5... should be adjusted according to the dimensional error of the vertical frame 2a.
If it is necessary to make dimensional corrections, the dimensions can be corrected without making difficult angular cuts by cutting the right-angled end portion 23 to the required length.

If this is carried out by joining, when the face edge members 6, 6 are removed from the vertical and horizontal directions 2a etc. when replacing the glass plate 7 as described above, the removal is easy because the double face edge members 6, 6 are not engaged with each other. can be done.

Furthermore, the end faces of the edge members 6, 6 are cut at right angles, and cutting at right angles is relatively easy to process.
Although it is difficult for a gap to form at the joint between the edge members 6 and 6, even if a gap does occur, the edge members 5, 5 exist on the opposite side of the glass plate 7, so that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. It can block air circulation and see-through.

As described in detail above, the present invention connects the vertical and horizontal side edge members on the inside or outside of the inner and outer side edge members, and this execution is carried out at right angles of the edges of the edge members for joining. Since the angle cutting process is easy, it is possible to do this without creating gaps at the joints of the vertical and horizontal edge members due to joining, and even if a gap does occur, it will be necessary to place the glass plate on the opposite side with the glass plate in between. The vertical and horizontal edge members can prevent air circulation and see-through between the inside and outside of the gap. Therefore, in this case, if the vertical and horizontal edge members placed on the opposite side are used as the front side edge members of the door etc., the gap can be blocked. Since the surface edge member on the side to be generated is located on the back side of the door etc., the appearance is not spoiled by the gap therebetween.

In addition, the vertical and horizontal side edge members on the outside or inside are not joined by cutting the edges of each side edge member at an angle and butting the edges of each other, as in the conventional so-called large miter joint. Only the end of one surface edge member is cut at an angle, and the end of the other surface edge member is a right-angled end that is not cut at an angle, and the angle-cut end is fitted over and joined to the right-angled end. Therefore, even if there is an error in the angle cutting accuracy, no gap will occur at the joint between the double-sided edge members.

Moreover, in the case of an angled edge member, since the inner corner of the beveled edge is chamfered to form the beveled edge into a sharp slope, there is no step at the joint of the double-sided edge member, which improves the appearance. In addition to improving the appearance of the edge member, when the angled end is fitted to the right-angled end, the sharp slope comes into close contact with the outer surface of the other inclined wall, dramatically improving the bonding force of the double-sided edge member. .

Furthermore, as mentioned above, since the face edge members are connected to each other by joining the angled end and the right angle end, each face edge member has one end cut at an angle as described in detail in the embodiment. The cut end can be formed into a right-angled end, and therefore, if it becomes necessary to modify the dimensions of the face edge member at the construction site, all you have to do is trim the right-angled end by the required amount. Angle cutting work is no longer necessary, workability is improved, and dimensions of the face edge member can be easily corrected.

In contrast to joining the vertical and horizontal side edge members on the external or internal side by engaging the angular cut ends and right-angled ends, the vertical and horizontal side edge members on the internal or external side are joined together. Therefore, it is easy to attach and detach the joined vertical and horizontal edge members to and from the outer frame, and the glass plate held by the inner and outer edge members can be easily replaced.

In connecting vertical and horizontal double-sided edges made of aluminum or its alloy at right angles, each edge is configured with a pair of inner and outer edge members that are removable from the outer frame forming the glass plate fitting part, and A glass plate fitting groove is formed between the opposing walls of the pair of face edge members, and each end of the inner or outer vertical and horizontal face edge members is cut at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the face edge members. These right-angled ends are joined to each other, while the outer or inner vertical and horizontal surface edge members are made of shaped members having the same cross-sectional shape and having inclined walls connected to the opposing wall. Then, among the vertical and horizontal edge members provided with the inclined wall portions, the end of the inclined wall portion of one of the edge members is cut at an angle obliquely to the longitudinal direction of the edge member to form a beveled edge. At the same time, the inner corner of the beveled edge is chamfered to form a sharp slope so as to come into surface contact with the outer surface of the inclined wall of the other side edge member, and the end of the opposing wall of the one side edge member is cut perpendicularly from the apex of the beveled edge to remove the opposing wall end, and the end of the other face edge member is cut at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the face edge member to form a right-angled end. and a right angle connection device for a face edge in a door or the like, in which the end of the inclined wall part of one face edge member is fitted over the end of the inclined wall part of the other face edge member.
