In this case, a method called a film method or a flow coater method has been widely used. Furthermore, in order to give a sense of depth and solidity to the decorative materials conventionally used for the decorative surfaces of furniture, a color clear lacquer coating is applied after the furniture is made, and in some cases, dyes or transparent pigments are added to the resin when making the decorative boards. (Ariki) There is a way to obtain it by using something that has been kneaded in water.

However, the former method requires a high degree of skill to uniformly apply the lacquer coating, and if you are not an expert, it will cause uneven coating, and the process is 5 different from the process used to create decorative boards, resulting in the production of large numbers of the same product. It is difficult to do so, and if a failure occurs only after it has been used as furniture, the damage can amount to a large amount. In addition, the latter method causes unevenness unless well stirred, and requires kneading by the resin manufacturer, so it is not suitable for small-lot production of 10 different types.

This has resulted in disadvantages such as waste of resin, color differences due to different rods, and color unevenness due to uneven coating.

The present invention aims to improve both of these drawbacks and produce a decorative material that has the depth and solidity required for household items. When creating a polyester decorative material using the film method by applying unsaturated polyester resin to By using a film, the coloring agent is transferred when the unsaturated polyester resin is cured, and we have discovered a method to produce polyester decorative material ■5 that has a deep and heavy feel similar to the finish coating of furniture materials. The present invention was completed.

The film method here refers to applying a resin that hardens at room temperature and pressure, such as unsaturated polyester resin, onto a base material, covering the resin with a film, defoaming it, and then leaving it until it becomes 30%. This is a method to obtain a decorative material by peeling off the film from the base.

According to the present invention, as described above, it is possible to produce a polyester decorative material having a deep and solid feel by using the conventionally known film process, and the material can be repainted after the production of the decorative material. This process eliminates this process.

As a base material having an arbitrary pattern, there is one in which a decorative paper 3 having an arbitrary pattern is attached to a base material 1 via an adhesive 2, as shown in FIG. It is also possible to apply a decorative film or the like to the base material 1 by hot melting or any other suitable method without using an adhesive. It may also be one with a pattern.

A transparent or translucent unsaturated polyester resin 4 is applied onto the base material which has been given an arbitrary pattern in this way (Fig. 2).
. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a film used in the present invention, showing a state in which a solid layer of a transparent or translucent colorant 5 is applied to the film 6. Film 6 is vinylon,
Synthetic resin films or sheets such as polyester, cellophane, vinylidene chloride, polypropylene, vinyl chloride, vinyl fluoride, etc., or laminated films and sheets thereof, and papers coated with a release agent or having release properties. All films and coating films thereof that are releasable to polyester resins such as synthetic paper can be used. Transparent or translucent colorants 5 with good adhesion or permeability to unsaturated polyester resins include transparent or translucent colorants commonly used in printing inks or paints, such as dyes and organic pigments. Select and use those that have good adhesion or permeability to unsaturated polyester resins from among those dissolved in resin. Transfer the solid layer of these colorants to film 6.
For coating, methods such as solid printing, roll coater, flow coater, knife coater, and spray painting can be used.

As a curing method for the unsaturated polyester resin at this time, a curing method using a peroxide catalyst, ultraviolet rays, electron beam, etc. may be used. In addition, when producing the above-mentioned polyester decorative material, it is possible to improve physical properties such as thinner resistance and abrasion resistance by allowing the colorant to penetrate into the polyester resin as much as possible. It is desirable to increase the penetration by selecting curing conditions or curing conditions.

Unsaturated polyester resin 100 parts by weight Cobalt naphthenate 1 part by weight Permek N (Nippon Oil Co., Ltd. hardener part by weight) On top of this, a 75 μm thick polyester film was coated with AP-871 (Toyo Ink ink)
When the unsaturated polyester resin was cured by stacking the unsaturated polyester resin so that the solid printed side was in contact with the unsaturated polyester resin, the 75μ thick polyester film was peeled off, and AP-871 was transferred. As a result, a polyester decorative board with a wood grain pattern that has a deeper and heavier feel than before was obtained.
