本発明は、ハロゲンランプの製造に関するもので、従来
のハロゲンランプは、ハロゲンサイクルを起こさせるた
めに、外筒バルブの温度を高温にする必要があり、その
ためにハロゲンランプを使用する場合、常に外筒バルブ
の熱と、その熱による周囲温度の上昇に困っていた。又
それを避けるため、外筒バルブの温度を下げると、ハロ
ゲンサイクルが十分に行なわれないため、ランプの寿命
が著しく短くなる不便さがあった。このため、ハロゲン
ランプの使用上の熱による制約が大変多く、そのために
使用箇所が限られ、特に狭隘の場所では使用が難しかっ

して外筒バルブを低い温度に保つため、タングステンフ
ィラメントの両端に高温に耐えるタングステンと膨張係
数のあったガラスでビーズを造り、これをビーズと同じ
ガラスで造ら九た筒型のバルブとを治具上に設置し、加
圧封着箱に入れ真空にした後にハロゲンガスを導入し、
加圧封着箱内にて加熱封着し、タングステンフィラメン
トが両端に突き出した円筒バルブを構成するハロゲンラ
ンプを造り、次にリード線を中心部に持つ真空封着用ビ
ーズを造り、円筒バルブの端部を保持するよう曲げ加工
し、これを筒型ハロゲンランプの両端より突き出してい
るタングステンと各々接続し、これに筒型パイプ状外筒
バルブを被せ、これを炭素治具上に設置し真空箱内にて
加熱封着した(特許第9乙39gI号、第1.0g9P
rkA号)二重バルブ構造で内筒バルブと外筒バルブの
間を真空にした外筒バルブに熱電導のないハロゲンラン
