Abstract

PURPOSE:To massproduce halogen lamps having good efficiency by a method wherein a filament projected from both ends of an inner cylindrical bulb is connected to lead-in wires fixed by beads while being covered by a cylinder type outer cylindrical bulb and sealed by heating on a carbon jig and inside a vacuum box. CONSTITUTION:Beads 5'' are made on both ends of a tungsten filament 3 with the glass having an expansion coefficient accordant with that of tungsten while setting it on a cylinder type bulb 2 made of the same glass with beads and on a jig A. After putting this into a pressurized sealing box while being vacuumized, halogen gas is led in while being sealed by heating in a box in order to constitute an inner cylindrical bulb having a filament 3 projected on both sides. Lead-in wires 4 fixed to beads 5 for vacuum sealing are bending-processed so as to hold the tip part of an inner cylindrical bulb while being connected to said tungsten respectively, covered by a cylinder type outer cylindrical bulb 1 and sealed by heating on a carbon jig A and inside a vacuum box, in order to obtain a halogen lamp having dual structure with the vacuum inter-space.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the manufacture of halogen lamps, and in conventional halogen lamps, it is necessary to raise the temperature of the outer bulb to a high temperature in order to cause the halogen cycle. When using a valve, there was always a problem with the heat from the outer valve and the rise in ambient temperature caused by that heat. Furthermore, if the temperature of the outer bulb is lowered to avoid this, the halogen cycle will not be carried out sufficiently, resulting in the inconvenience of significantly shortening the life of the lamp. For this reason, there are many restrictions on the use of halogen lamps due to heat, which limits the places where they can be used, making it particularly difficult to use them in narrow spaces.

Therefore, the present invention maintains the temperature of the halogen cycle inside the inner bulb while cutting off thermal conduction to the outer bulb to keep the outer bulb at a low temperature. Beads were made from glass with a certain coefficient, and a cylindrical bulb made from the same glass as the beads was placed on a jig, placed in a pressurized sealing box, evacuated, and then halogen gas was introduced.
A halogen lamp is made by heating and sealing in a pressure sealing box to form a cylindrical bulb with tungsten filaments protruding from both ends.Next, vacuum sealing beads with lead wires in the center are made and the ends of the cylindrical bulb are sealed. This is then connected to the tungsten protruding from both ends of the cylindrical halogen lamp, covered with a cylindrical pipe-shaped outer cylindrical bulb, placed on a carbon jig, and placed in a vacuum box. (Patent No. 9 Otsu 39gI, No. 1.0g9P)
rkA) This is a halogen lamp with a double bulb structure and a vacuum between the inner and outer bulbs, with no thermal conduction in the outer bulb.
