Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a roll mark by the work roll of a leveler and to improve the flatness of a blank material by spacing slightly the part between a leveler and a feeder, operating simultaneously both motors of the leveler and feeder which are provided independently to feed a blank material and running the leveler motor at an extremely low speed when the feeder is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The feed length of a blank material to a press is set by a feed length setter 19. When a start signal 22 is fed to a counter 20 for setting a creep quantity upon starting of a press operation, the latched feed length is fed, via an auxiliary counter 23, to a deviation counter 24, by which a motor 15 is run. At the same time, the value of the setter 19 is applied to a deviation counter 24 as well and a motor 18 is run to deliver a blank material 1 to the press. The feedback pulses from pulse generators 26, 27 are fed to the counters 24, 25 according to the revolution of the motors in this stage. A completion signal is generated from the counter 24 at the several remaining pulses on decreasing the set value of the feed length, then an AND gate 31 is closed and an AND gate 30 is opened. The feedback pulse of the generator 26 is therefore applied to the counter 23, and the motor 15 runs at a low speed for the several pulses.

In a press machine that presses in continuous operation, the coil material (material) wound around an uncoiler is fed to the press machine to the required length via a level feeder in conjunction with the press operation. At that time, the coil material is leveled to remove any curls that may have formed while it was being wound into a coil.

Therefore, the material is stopped within the leveler feeder while being pressed by the press machine. On the other hand, the work roll of a spatula is used to flatten curled materials, so while the material is moving, it flattens the material, but when it stops, the pressure of the roll causes roll marks on the material. However, a problem arose in that the flatness was impaired.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 will be described below. FIG. 1 is a side view of the entire level feeder using the control circuit according to the second embodiment of the present invention, in which a material 1 such as an iron plate wound into a coil is unwound by an uncoiler 2 and guided to a level feeder 3. A control circuit consisting of a coil presser 4.5, a coil opener 6, a light emitting element 7 and light receiving elements 8, 8 for controlling the amount of unwinding is not particularly different from the conventional one.

In this feeder, the level 3 and the feeder 9 are mounted on a stand 10 with a slight distance between them. As before, the leveler 3 itself has side guide rolls 11 for determining the width of the material 1. Pinch roll 12. Work roll 13. It has a work roll pressure bundle 14 and a motor 15 for adjusting the pressure of the work rolls. Similarly, the feeder 9 also includes a side guide roll 16, a feed roll 17, and a feed roll 17.
It has a motor 18 for rotating it. In this embodiment, both motors 15 and 18 are operated independently and simultaneously by the control circuit described later, but when the coil material feeding is completed, only the motor 18 is stopped, and the motor 1
5 is configured to rotate at extremely low speed.

A circuit for driving and controlling these motors is shown in FIG. The feed length setting device 19 consists of a digital switch or the like that sets the length of the material 1 required for one press according to the object to be pressed, and only the length set there is used once. This is to feed the material with the action of . The value set by this feed length setting device 19 is latched in the register 21 of the creep amount setting counter 20, and in response to the start signal 22 of the press machine, the deviation counter value of the level and the direct feeder value are set via the auxiliary counter 23. It is input to the deviation counter 5. The motors 15 and 18 each have a pulse generator 26.
.. 27 is attached, the output of the pulse generator 27 is directly input to the negative input of the deviation counter 5. On the other hand, the output of the pulse generator 26 is inputted to the minus input of the deviation counter 24 and the auxiliary counter n via the pulse switching circuit 28. The creep amount setting counter 20 has the above-mentioned through register 21 and auxiliary counter n, and the value set by the feed length setting device 19 minus the value counted by the auxiliary counter 23 is sent to the deviation counter 24. is input. This deviation counter 24 is configured to output a transmission completion signal 29 to the pulse switching circuit 4 when the number of remaining pulses is a few pulses.

Therefore, in the operation of the present invention, first, the feed length is set by the feed length setting device 19. The auxiliary counter 23 is not counting before the press is operated. When the operation is started and the start signal 22 is sent to the creep amount setting counter 20, the latched feed length is sent to the deviation counter 24 via the auxiliary counter 23, and at the same time the motor 15 starts rotating.

The value of the feed length setting device 19 is also given to the deviation counter 5, and the motor 18 is rotated. That is, the motors 15.degree. 18 start rotating at the same time and feed the material 1 to the press machine. Feedback pulses from the pulse generators 26, 27 are then sent to the deviation counters 24, 25 in accordance with the rotation of the motor. Since the feed completion signal path has not yet occurred, the gate 31 is opened by the inverter 32 and the feedback pulse is applied to the deviation counter. As the motor rotates, the value set with the feed length setting device decreases.

When there are only a few pulses remaining, a feed completion signal is generated from the deviation counter 24, and the AND gate 31 is closed.
Open 0. Therefore, the feedback pulse from the pulse generator 26 is not applied to the minus input side of the deviation counter 24, but is applied to the auxiliary counter 23. Since no feedback pulses are given to the deviation counter 24, a speed command voltage of several pulses is given, and the motor 15 is at the pole <
Rotate at low speed. The number of rotations is counted by an auxiliary counter. Meanwhile, on the feeder side, the feedback pulse from the pulse generator 27 continues to be applied to the deviation counter B until the speed command becomes zero.

During this time, when the start signal 22 is input again from the press machine, it is applied to the creep amount setting counter 20 and at the same time, it is applied to the deviation counter 25 of the feeder 9, and the motor 15 starts rotating. However, since the motor 15 of the leveler 3 still has the value counted by the creep operation of the leveler during the feeder stop period in the auxiliary counter 23, that amount is subtracted and input to the deviation counter 24, and the subtracted value is input to the deviation counter 24. The motor 15 is rotated. As a result, the amount fed by the feeder and the amount fed by the leveler are always the same.
When the number of remaining pulses reaches several pulses, the sending p completion signal 29 is generated as described above, and the above-mentioned operation is repeated.

As described above, according to one aspect of the present invention, while a predetermined amount of material is fed into the press machine and the feeding operation of the feeder is stopped,
Since the leveler continues to feed at extremely low speed, the occurrence of roll marks caused by the leveler's work roll can be minimized.
