Claims (1)
- 流体のもつ粘性によって駆動部側より被駆動部側に伝達
される回転を外部周囲の温度変化に応じて制御するため
、回転軸体上に尺承した外方にファン部材を取付てけて
なる密封器匣の内部を支切板により油溜り室とトルク伝
達室とに区劃し、且つ油溜り室側に支切板上に設けた流
入調整孔を開閉作動せしめるべ（、器匣め外側正面に取
付けた感温体と連動する板状の弁部材を内装すると共に
、トルク伝達室側に前記回転軸体端部に固着した駆動デ
ィスクを、支切板を含む器匣内側の対向壁面とトルク伝
達のための微少間隙を保持した状態をもって内装せしめ
、更に該間隙部内の油量の有効接触面積を所望一定の外
部周囲の温度変化につれて増減するため、回転時の遠心
力による前記駆動ディスクの外方周壁面となす器匣側の
対向周壁面の油の集溜する部分に、ポンピング機能を有
するダムと該ダムに近傍してトルク伝達室より油溜り室
に連通した循環流通路とを設けたファンカップリング装
置において、前記支切板上に設けてなる流入調整孔を、
板状弁部材が摺動する表面積の範囲内で該弁部材の開孔
方向に逐次軸芯から外方に遠のく傾斜した長孔構造とし
、且つ該流入調整孔を開閉する弁部材を左右へ摺動させ
るための器匣外側正面にその一端を係着した渦巻状のバ
イメタル材からなる感温体と連動させ、かくして外部周
囲の温度変化に応１て前記弁部材による流入調整孔にお
ける連続的開閉機能をも・つて被駆動部側のファン回転
を制御せしめてなることを特徴とする温度感応型流体式
ファンカップリング装置。
