PURPOSE:To suppress noise and improve comfort of passengers by a method wherein a support arm is provided integrally on a support member such as a cross member and connected to a vehicle body by means of a resilient member having a larger hardness in the righthand and lefthand direction than a resilient member for mounting the cross member to the vehicle body in the vicinity of the center line of the rear wheels in the forward and rearward direction of the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:The support arm 6 is fixed integrally to the support member such as the cross member 1 which supports the rear wheels 5 or the like, and connected to a vehicle body member such as a fame through the resilient member 8 in the vicinity or on the center line X-X of the rear wheels 5. This resilient member 8 is made to have a hardness in the righthand and lefthand direction higher than that of the resilient member 7 interposed between the vehicle body member and the cross member 1. By this construction, the connection point of the support arm 6 to the vehicle body is positioned in the vicinity of a transverse load F operation line. In addition, the transverse hardness of the resilient member 8 is large.
