Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease leakage flux generating from a motor to outside and simplify fixing mechanism and make an apparatus thin, by a method wherein threaded portion is formed on outside cylinder of a motor and installed to threaded portion of a base of electronic apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An external thread 10 is provided on an outside cylinder of a motor at least partly. A collar 12 having outer diameter larger than that of the external thread is formed on a bracket 17 at opposite side of a housing 14 on which a shaft 11 projects. A buffer member 12 of hollow cylinder shape is fitted between the collar 12 and the external thread. A buffer member 15 is provided with internal thread having inner diameter being equal to the external thread 10 of the motor and the same pitch as that of the external thread 10, and the buffer member 16 is fitted to a mechanism chassis 15 of an electronic apparatus, for example, a magnetic recording apparatus. The motor is fixed to the mechanism chassis 15 indirectly through the buffer member 15 using the external thread 10 of the motor and the internal thread of the buffer member 15.

ータの振動を吸収するための12緩衝部材1例えばネオ
プレンゴム等を嵌合したモータの斜視図である。前出の
ように第5図は上記モータを磁気記録装置に固定した状
態を示す断面図である。磁気記録装Wの15メカニズム
シヤーシーに、内径に上記−モータの10雄ねじと同径
、同ピツチの雌ねじなモータを15メカニズムシヤーシ
ーに固定することが可能となる。この時、モータは15
メカニズムシヤーシに間接的に6緩衝部材な介して固定
されるため防振効果を大きく、かつ12緩衝部材によっ
てモータの11シヤフトの軸方向に応力が印加される為
より強固に締結されるといった効果も生じる。さらに緩
衝部材が非磁性であることからモータから発生する漏洩
磁束の18記録再生回路郷への1響も一少となり、モー
タの性能低下の抑制といった効果も挙げられる。一方、
磁気記録装置のメカニズムシャーシーの曲げ加工も構造
上必要ない為、その厚み方向の空間の利用率が高くなり
磁気記録装置の小型・薄型化に大きな寄与をするといっ
た効果も併せもつ。
