Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress unstable destructive elements in the oil in the oil immersed transformer having a plurality of insulating barriers on the outside of windings, by alternately arranging cylinders, the edge part of a cap, and molding insulators or the barriers on the outside of windings, and flowing the insulating oil zigzag therebetween from the windings to the outside. CONSTITUTION:The low voltage winding 2 and the high voltage winding 3 are wound around the outside of the transformer core 4. The insulators 5 comprising press board are provided between the core 4 and the winding 2, between the windings 2 and 3, and between the winding 3 and a transformer tank 1. The molding insulators are arranged on upper and lower ends of the winding 2, and the molding insulator 6 is provided on the upper end of the winding 6. In this constitution, the cylinder 7, the cap 8, the cylinder 9 are arranged so as to form a zigzag oil path therebetween but so as not to form a wide oil gap between the winding 3 and the tank 1. Thus the formation of the wide opening at the oil path in the high voltage part is avoided, reliability of the transformer is enhanced, and the compact configuration can be obtained.
