Abstract

PURPOSE:To make balancing process for rotors of various forms easier by taking out and synthesizing the reference phase pulses and detected vibrational vectors, and obtaining the amount of unbalance and phase of rotors. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 takes rotations of a rotating shaft 4 via an universal joint 3, and calculated values by vibration detecters 5 and 6, and a non-contact type pick-upper 11 at an arbitrary position during rotation of the rotor 1 are sample-held. Vibrations of both the sides of the ends of the rotor 1 are paired with reference phase pulses of a reference phase oscillator 7, converted from analog to digital value, and converted to bearing amplitude at a calculator 15. On the other hand, oscillations of rotational bent of the center of the rotor 1 are detected at the pick-upper 11, paired with reference phase pulses, and the amount of unbalance is obtained at the calculator 15. Also, at the calculator 15, vibrational vectors of both ends of the rotor 1 and of the center are synthesized, and the amount of unbalance and phases at the corrected side are obtained.
