Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the feeding and the exhausting of a fuel and an oxidizing agent, by making several holes through an electrolyte so that these holes may correspond to holes for a feeding side pathway and for an exhausting pathway of the oxidizing agent and fuel which are distributed on a by-polar plate. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a by-polar plate 11 is provided with an oxidizing agent chamber 12, collector 13, oxidizing agent inlet side pathway 14, and oxidizing agent outlet side pathway 15; the other side is provided with a fuel chamber 16, collector 17, fuel inlet side pathway 18, and fuel outlet side pathway 19. An electrolyte plate 21 has approximately the same dimension of the by-polar plate 11, the places corresponding to the inlet side pathway and the outlet side pathway of oxidizing agent and fuel distributed on the by-polar plate 11 is provided with an oxidizing agent inlet side pathway 22, oxidizing agent outlet side pathway 23, fuel inlet side pathway 24, and fuel outlet side pathway 25, repectively. A combination of the by-polar plate 11, electrode 20, and electrolyte plate 21 makes a set, and a pile of these plural sets makes a laminating structure.
