Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive thermosensor having no directivity in terms of positioning, by sensing prescribed temperature by the fusion of a fusible wire material. CONSTITUTION:Two fusible wire materials 5 are installed in a metallic pipe 4, which is charged with a powdery insulator 6. For the metallic pipe 4, stainless steel, ''inconel ,'' etc., are used, and for the fusible wire material 5, an alloy of copper and zinc or silver and copper which uses at prescribed temperature is used. As a thermosensor reaches the prescribed temperature, the fusible wire material 5 fuses and permeates the powdery insulator 6, thereby conducting to the other fusible wire material 5 or the internal wall of the metallic pipe 4. This conduction puts an alarm device into operation.
