Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce eddy current loss by a method wherein a plurality of electric steel strips are piled perpendicularly on the surface of laminated electric steel plates and reinforcing members are placed on both sides of the piled electric steel strips which are welded at both ends to form one body. CONSTITUTION:A leg fastening member 13 is fitted to a leg surface 12 of a laminated core leg 11 which is composed of electric steel plates laminated into a form of circular stairs and a whole body is wound and fastened by an insulation belt. The leg fastening member 13 is composed of a plurality of electric steel strips 15 which are laid perpendicularly to the surface 12 of the electric steel plates and laminated, are compressed by reinforcing member 16 fitted to both sides of the strips 15 and are welded at top and bottom ends 17a, 17b so as to be fixed into one body. In order to obtain firmer fastening of the electric steel strips 15 may be coate and adhered by adhesive such as epoxy resin or adhesive is impregnated between laminated layers of the electric strips 15.
