Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of passages 11, which extend in the circumferential direction of an outer circumference of the drum 1 and are communicated with a steam inlet 2, are partitioned and shaped on the outer circumference of the drum 1, and a large number of openings 12 penetrating the walls of the drums 1 of each passage 11 section along the partitions are bored to the drums 1 of each passage 11 section. Consequently, heat transfer tubes 7 are arranged up to a section near an inner wall of the drum 1, and the passages 11 function as the steam passages. Accordingly, ineffective heat-transfer surface can be reduced because the diameter and the number of the openings 12 can be adjusted so as to flow steam only by quantity corresponding to the quantity of condensation of each section and the quantity of steam required can be supplied to each section of the heat transfer tube 7 group when steam flows into the drum 1.
