Abstract

PURPOSE:To save power normally, by supplying power supply as required, through the control of supplied power supply for monitored device and monitoring device. CONSTITUTION:Monitor information is inputted to a monitor input circuit 3 of a monitored station 1, converted into a logical level and transmitted to a state change detection circuit 4 and a transmission logical circuit 5. This circuit 4 detects the status change in the monitor information and a power supply control signal is transmitted to a power supply control circuit 7. The circuit 7 controls the power supply from a supply circuit 8 applied to the circuit 5 and a modulation circuit 6 with a control signal from the circuit 4 and an internal timer. When the power is supplied, a signal modulated is transmitted to a monitoring station 2, the level of the reception signal is detected at a demodulation circuit 9 and applied to a power supply control circuit 13 as a power supply control signal. The recetion level is converted into a logical level, applied to a reception logical circuit 10, and the control signal from the circuit 9 is controlled with the circuit 13 and the power supply supplied to the circuit 10 and the display circuit 12 from the power supply circuit 14 is controlled with manual display request.
