Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the voltage consumption and to make longer the life of the device, by controlling a detection stop circuit through the indicating value of a voltage supply timer and the set value of a voltage supply time set circuit, when a data processor is idle. CONSTITUTION:A voltage supply 6 to each device also supplies voltage to the 2nd central processor 10. The processor 10 is provided for the purpose to control the voltage supplied to each device and the reception/transmission of data is made with a detection stop circuit 7. The circuit 7 detects the 1st central processor 5 and the operating state of an input/output controller 4 and stops the devices 5 and 4. The voltage supply time when the devices 4 and 5 are idle is set at a voltage supply time setting circuit 8, and this output is applied to the 2nd central processor 10.
