Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce drawing time, by chaging a capacitor in an AGC circuit while an input signal is absent. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal Vin is absent, since the switch 23 turns on with zero output of a signal detection circuit 22, a capacitor 16 is charged to an initial voltage Vp, and a differential amplifier 19 takes a voltage which is a difference between the reference voltage Vs and the initial voltage Vp as an input, and a control voltage of its constant fold is given to a variable gain amplifier 12. When the input signal, Vin is given, the switch 23 turns off by the output of a signal detection circuit 22 to interrupt the supply of the initial voltage Vp. In this case, since the variable gain amplifier 12 is already in gain control, the initial output being the cause to overcharge of the capacitor 16 is limited and the drawing time can be reduced.
