Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric vibrator durable against the use in high frequency and with good temperature characteistic by mixing at least one of PbO, SiO2, Nd2O3, MnO2, with In2O3, Al2O3 and Ga2O3 at the prescribed ratio. CONSTITUTION:When the composition is expressed by mol%, one of 47.3-49.1 of Pb, 49.0-49.8 of TiO2, 0.8-1.5 of Nd2O3, 0.03-1.3 of MnO3, and one of InO3, AlO3 Ga2O3 is selected to 0.3 to 1.0. Or, one of 48.2-49.5 of PbO, 49.0-49.5 of TiO2, 0.5-1.0 of Nd2O3, 0.3-1.3 of MnO3, In2O3Al2O3, Ga2O3 is selected to 0.2- 0.6. The raw material of this composition ratio is mixed in wet state, is then dried temporarily, is again mixed and dried, and is press molded. With such composition ratio, a piezoelectric characteristic of excellent and dense porcelain can be obtd. Particularly, when, In2O3, Al2O3, Ga2O3 are added the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency of the vibration in the thicknesswise direction can be set to 0.
