Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to achieve prompt space heating even on the next morning after draining of water from a heat collector, by providing a cistern tank for feeding water to a heat accumulating tank separately from the latter tank, and extending a connecting pipe from the cistern tank to a lower part of the heat accumulating tank.
CONSTITUTION: When the temperature is raised with increasing intensity of solar rays on the next morning after draining of water from a heat collector 1 by opening a valve 12, for instance, for the purpose of preventing freezing of water in the heat collector 1, a water circulating pump 5 is set into operation after closing of the valve 12. Resultantly, the levels of water in a heat accumulating tank 2 and a cistern tank 14 drop to such an extent as corresponds to the capacity of the heat collector 1, and a corresponding amount of city water is replenished into the tank 2. Here, since the city water is supplied to a lower part of the tank 2 from a pipe 15, the temperature of water at the upper section of the tank 2 is kept high, so that hot water can be delivered to an air conditioner 6 promptly by operating a pump 8. Thus, it is enabled to achieve prompt space heating even on the next morning after draining of water from the heat collector 1.
