Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the circulating flow rate of a pump, diminish the possibility of water overflow, make any header unnecessary and improve the efficiency of heat exchange with a heat collecting plate, by shaping a flow-down type solar heat collector like a bowl.
CONSTITUTION: Water is ejected up by the pump 4 from a water tank 3 against a small ball 15 and a dome-shaped transparent cover 11 through a circulating water passage 5 so that the water is uniformly sprinkled. Then, the water flows down along the bowl-shaped heat collecting plate 12 on a heat insulator 13 while the water is heated by the heat collecting plate 13 heated by solar heat having passed through the transparent cover 11. The water is temporarily reserved at the lower part of the heat collecting plate 12 and thereafter drops down into the water tank 13 through a return passage 14. The water level is controlled by an overflow pipe 16. New water is supplemented through a water valve 9. Hot water is supplied through a hot water valve 10
