Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect a motor against an overload by varying the over current detecting level in response to the detection command. CONSTITUTION:A speed command signal 11 is added to a detection level signal of an overcurrent detection setting circuit, and is varied in response to the detection command. The overcurrent detecting characteristics is prepared by considering the characteristics of the motor current due to the rotating speed determined by the load connected to the motor and the characteristics of the allowable current due to the rotating speed of the motor, thereby suitably detecting the over-current. The prescribed function generator is added after the speed command signal 11, thereby preparing the arbitrary detecting characteristics.
