Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for protecting a motor from an impact load wherein a starting action prohibiting circuit and an operating current level setting circuit are connected in parallel to each other to constitute an AND gate, and an overloaded current excepting that at the starting time is detected to perform the protection from overload so that the apparatus is not operated by a starting current at the time of starting.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus A for protecting a motor from an impact load is provided, and when the apparaturs A is operated by a starting current and a starting current flowing time, a start deterioration is caused. Therefore, a starting action prohibiting circuit 4 is provided so that the apparatus 4 is not operated at the time of starting, and the starting current flowing time t is variably adjusted and formed to be adjustable in accordance with the kind and the load L of the motor M. Further, in an operating current level setting circuit 5, when a mechanical load by which the motor M is driven increases, the load current increases, and the circuit 5 is formed to be capable of adjusting the operation level at what % time with respect to the increase level.
