Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a bonded layer having a uniform thickness without marring and staining an adherend, by a method wherein an adhesive is placed between the bonding areas of a substrate and said adherend, and bonding is conducted while sucking air between said bonding areas.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive 8 is placed between the bonding area 6a of a substrate 6 and a bonding area 7a formed on the surface of an adherend 7, said substrate being provided with a vacuum suction groove 9 and a suction hole 10. The suction hole 10 is connected to a pipe 12 connected to a vacuum source 11. Air between the bonding areas 6a, 7a of the substrate 6 and the adherend 7 is discharged in the direction of an arrow through the suction groove 9 and the suction hole 10 to reduce the pressure. The area between the bonding areas 6a, 7a is pressed uniformly under atmospheric pressure, and the adhesive 8 is cured in this state.
