Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the humidity detecting only varying portion of the humidity, by canceling the varying portion caused by a temperature of electric resistance of an element at a hygrometer using a himidity sensitive element varying the electric resistance with the humidity and temperature. CONSTITUTION:Humidity sensitive elements 22-25 are provided on a substrate made of alumina 21. The elements 22-25 have the same electric resistance under the same temperature and humidity. The element 22 is bared and its electric resistance is varied with variations of the temperature and humidity. The elements 23- 25 are covered with a polyvinyl chloride resin 26 and are not affected by the variation of himidity and also, are affected by only the variation of temperature. The elements 22-25 are connected with lead wires 27-30 and a Wheatstone bridge is formed. An alternating current power source 31 is connected between a lead wires 27 and 28 and a coil 32 is connected between a lead wires 29 and 30. By such a construction, the measured value of the humidity is obtained by the output amplified by an amplifier 34 and detected by a detector 35 without carrying out temperature correction.
