Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the solar heat collector which is easy to manufacture and which is light in weight by a method wherein a heat collecting plate is inserted into a casing formed of a flexible transparent sheet. CONSTITUTION:The heat collecting plate 1 includes a plurality of pipes 7 and 8 which are arranged vertically in parallel relationships with one another and the upper and the lower sides of each of the pipes are provided with riblike projections 9, respectively, which extend along the entire length thereof. Further, the upper and the lower side edges of the heat collecting plate 1 are provided with frames 15 of a width substantially equal to the distance between the upper ends of both upper and lower ribs of each of the pipes 7 and 8. With the above structure, when the heat collecting plate 1 is inserted into the flexible transparent casing 3, the frames 15 come into contact with the internal side surfaces of the casing while the ribs 9 come into contact with the internal surfaces of the upper and the lower surfaces of the casing 3 so that sealed spaces 6 are provided between the bottoms 5 among the pipes 7 and 8, and the casing 3. Consequently, the radiation of heat from the upper and the lower surfaces of the heat collecting plate 1 is prevented by the existence of the sealed spaces 6.
