Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive to increase the heating surface area and to improve the heat collecting efficiency of the collector by a structure wherein fins are provided in order to increase the heat collecting area and airtight heat insulating walls are also provided between groups of fins in order to prevent the heat loss due to the convection of air within air layers in the interior of the collector. CONSTITUTION:Heat insulating material 6, heat collecting tubes 3 and fins 4 are provided between the casing 5 of the solar heat collector 1 and a glass plate 2. The heat collecting area is increased with the fins 4 and the heat loss due to the convection of air within air layers in the interior of the collector is prevented by providing the airtight heat insulating walls between the groups of fins 4. Owing to the structure as described above, because a large number of fins 4 are arranged within flat plate patterns, the heating surface area is ten times as large as that of the bare heat collecting tubes. In addition, the heat collecting tubes 3 can be arranged at the glass plate 2 side, at which the temperature of the air in the interior of the collector is higher and as well as furthermore the heat in air chambers formed between the fins 4 can be conducted from the fins 4 to the heat collecting tubes 3.
