Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish the anticorrosive coating of a long-sized body not compatible with the coating of a heat shrinkable tube by thermally reducing two spirally cut heat-shrinkable tubes sequentially covering the body after the inner surface thereof is coated with an adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A first heat-shrinkable tube 7 and a second heat-shrinkable tube 8 are coated on the inner surface thereof with an adhesive 9 while cut 10 spirally. Then, the first heat-shrinkable tube 7 is opened along the cut 10 to cover a long- sized body 11 requiring corrosion resistance and heated to reduce. Then, the second heat-shrinkable tube 8 is opened along the cut 10 to cover the first tube 7 and reduced by heat to effect anti-corrosive coating of the long-sized body 11. Otherwise, the first tube 7 and the second tube 8 can be opened along the cut 10 to cover the long-sized body 11 sequentially and reduced by heat simultaneously. A lengthwise cut 10' can be given to the first tube 7.
