Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a heat exchanger having a high mechanical strength, an excellent corrosion resistance, and an excellent heat exchange capacity by bonding a stainless steel plate member to copper alloy radiation fins by a hard brazing material.
CONSTITUTION: The upper plate 2a and lower plate 2b of a stainless steel plate are caulked to form a tube 2. The brazing material is inserted in the caulked part. Then, a short pipe 3 and a tube 2 are alternately superimposed on each other. The hard brazing material is inserted between the end surface of the short pipe 3 and tube 2. Then, copper-made corrugated radiation fins 4 are arranged between tubes, and the hard brazing material is inserted between the corrugated tips and the tubes 2. Then, they are subjected to blazing in a vacuum furnace to obtain a heat exchanger.
