Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the high measuring accuracy with a simple constitution of a liquid quantity measuring circuit, by constituting an arithmetic circuit with two oscillating circuits, four frequency dividing circuits, two monostable multivibrators, two gate circuits and two counter circuits respectively. CONSTITUTION:Two oscillating circuits 5 and 6 produce the pulses of a cycle which is proportional to the electrostatic capacitance of a dielectric constant measuring electrode pair 2 and a liquid quantity measuring electrode pair 3. In addition to these oscillating circuits, two frequency dividers 14 and 15, two monostable multivibrators 16 and 17, two gates circuits 18 and 19, a frequency divider 21, and a counter circuit 22 are used. The substraction of the pulse duration is performed by the circuits 18 and 19; the multiplication of the pulse duration is performed by the dividers 14 and 15; and the division of the pulse number is carried out by the circuit 22 respectively. Thus the count value proportional to the liquid quantity is obtained through a latch circuit 23.
