Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the shock when connecting the clutch without increasing the size of the device, by relieving a portion of the operating oil through an exhaust oil path in parallel with the boosting operation due to the pressure storage chamber or a piston thereby gradually increasing the oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the cylinder 7 of a modulation valve 6 is splitted into the pressure storage chamber 10 and the exhaust oil chamber 11 while holding a piston 8, and a compression spring 13 for biasing the piston 8 to the pressure storage chamber 11 side is placed in the exhaust oil chamber 11. The oil supply hole 19 provided in said chamber 10 is connected with the pressure storage oil path 21 branched from the portion A at the downstream of the diaphragm 3 in the oil path 1, while the exhaust oil hole 20 provided in the exhaust oil chamber 11 is connected to the exhaust oil tank 23. The oil hole 26 formed in the circumferential wall of the cylinder 7 is opened/closed by the stirt portion 17 of the piston 8 while connected to the intermediate portion B of the pressure storage oil path 21.
