Abstract

The reservoir for brake fluid has a container with a base chamber, at the bottom of which is an opening communicating between the reservoir and the pressure chamber of a master cylinder. This opening has an annular seal (28) at the bottom of the reservoir (12). The seal has one face mating with the orifice periphery and another with the end of a tubular part (36) in the reservoir to keep the seal against the periphery. The seal is made up by the external periphery and a membrane with a passage in its centre to match the orifice.
