Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce wastefull power consumption by a method wherein when the cooling water for the titled condenser in an atomic power plant is controlled, the flow rate of the cooling water is controlled properly to meet the working condition of the condenser in consideration of the temperatures of the cooling water at inlet and outlet ports so that the condenser is always kept in a high efficiency working condition. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water discharged from a movable vane type pump 4 flows in an inlet circulation pipe 7 and a bypass pipe 10 through a discharge pipe 26. The value detected by a pressure sensor 19 is inputted to a signal input device 100 of an operating unit 200 through a converter 29 and the values detected by cooling water temperature sensers 20 and 22 at the cooling water inlet and outlet ports and the value detected by a drain temperature senser 28 are also inputted to the above mentioned signal input device 100. Likewise, the values detected by cooling water temperature sensers 21 and 23 are inputted to the signal input device 100 through a converter 30. Further, the values detected by ultrasonic sensers 24 and 25 are inputted to the signal input device 100 through a converter 31 and the value detected by a discharge pressure senser 27 is inputted to the device 100 through a converter 32.
