Abstract
PURPOSE: In a condenser for use in a thermal power plant or an atomic power plant, to obtain by operation an estimation signal in consideration of delay time or waste time of the control system, thereby to control the temperature of a water discharge port prior to generation of the temperature fluctuation.
CONSTITUTION: In order to cause the difference between the inlet temperature of a water intake port and the outlet temperature of a water discharge port to coincide with a set value, the estimated opening degree BV2 of a condenser bypass valve is obtained and further the opening degree value BV1 of the condenser bypass valve in consideration of the delay from the variation of the flow quantity of the condenser bypass valve to the variation of the discharge port temperature is obtained. The values BV2 and BV1 are added by an adder 107, and the output BV3 thereof is supplied as input to adders 109 and 110 thereby to obtain the differences BVε1 and BVε2 between the estimated value and the actual opening degree BVa2 of the bypass valve detected by opening degree detectors 15A and 15B. The difference values are supplied as inputs to adjustors A and B corresponding thereto, and motors 12A and 12B for adjusting the condenser bypass valve opening degree are driven so as to make the differences zero, thereby to control the quantity of cooling water.
