Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote carburetion of fuel to be taken into the engine by means of rapidly raising cooling water temperatures of water jacket in the cylinder head after starting. CONSTITUTION:A water temperature sensor 24 detects temperature in the cooling water to flow through a conduit 18, namely the temperature in the cooling water to flow into a water jacekt 4 of a cylinder head 2. When temperature in the cooling water detected by the water temperature sensor 24 is at the first determined value for example less than 80 deg.C, a controller 40 gives a control valve 22 valve closing signals as output, and when it is at more than the determined value, it gives the control valve 22 valve opening signals as output respectively. Besides, when the temperature in the cooling water is at the second determined value which is higher than the first determined value, for example less than 85 deg.C, it gives a control valve 15 valve closing signals as output, and when it is at more than the second determined value, it gives the control valve 15 valve opening signals as output respectively.
