Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a hard copy with good quality by inserting a frequency divider, whose frequency division ratio is set adequately, into the frequency feedback system of a PLL circuit, and thus outputting a clock which has the same frequency and is in phase with a clock in a CRT, as the frequency of a VCO. CONSTITUTION:A phase comparator 1 constituting a PLL is applied with a horizontal synchronizing signal HT in a received separate video signal as an input frequency fin, and a requency divider 4 is inserted into the frequency feedback system of the PLL. The frequency division ratio of this frequency divider 4 is set adequately according to a clock in a CRT, and a comparator 1 compares the phase of the frequency fin of the signal HT with that of a feedback frequency fp from the frequency divider 4; and the output of the comparator 4 is converted by an LPF2 into a DC voltage signal, and a frequency signal proportional to said DC voltage signal is generated by a VCO3 and then frequency- divided at 1/N by the frequency divider 4 before being outputted. Then, the VCO3 outputs a clock which has the same frequency with and is in phase with the clock in the CRT, thus obtaining a hard copy of good quality.
