Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the entitled copying material excellent in unexposed stock stability, and capable of forming a high-density image by low temperature development, by using a combination of a specified diazo compound and an encapsulated color developing adjuvant, etc. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer formed on a substrate serviceable as a copying material consists essentially of (A) a diazo compound having a substituted amino group represented by the general formulaeIand II in which R<1>, R<2> are 1-5C alkyl; R<3>, R<4>, R<6>, R<7> are oxyalkyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, or the like; R<5> is 1-5C alkyl, phenyl, or the like; X is anion; and Y is halogen, (B) a color developing adjuvant consisting of an aliphatic acid amide represented by the formula III in which R is 5-24C alkyl, and an amino acid having <=0.1wt% solubility in water at 20 deg.C, and (C) a coupling component, such as resorcinol. One of said coupling component and said acid amide is encapsulated with a hydrophobic polymer having 50-150 deg.C heat softening point.
