Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate ignition as well as to prevent increase of NOx by interrupting mutual interference among fluids flowing out from each compartment.
CONSTITUTION: No.1 pulverized fuel blast compartment is formed by a pulverized fuel jet nozzle 45, a primary air/pulverized fuel nixture path 44, a secondary air path 52 and a secondary air jet nozzle 50, and No.2 pulverized fuel blast compartment is formed by a pulverized fuel jet nozzle 48, a primary air/pulverized fuel mixture path 47, a secondary air path 53 and a secondary air jet nozzle 51. Further, an auxiliary air compartment is formed by an auxiliary air path 55 and an auxiliary air jet nozzle 54. With such a construction, a part of combustion exhaust gas flows through recirculation combustion exhaust gas path 54 and is blasted into a furnace from a recirculation combustion exhaust gas jet nozzle 56. This inactive combustion exhaust gas interrupts a mutual interference between jets from No.1 and No.2 pulverized fuel blast compartments.
