PURPOSE:To obtain the fitting structure of the light transmitting plate with favorable water tightness by a method wherein a sealing member, which is molded beforehand, is made to be applicable by arranging a light transmitting plate keeping member, which fixes said plate onto a supporting part by pressure through the water tight sealing member placed on the upper surface of the light transmitting plate. CONSTITUTION:A space part 8 is formed between the frame body 2 of the solar heat collector, the light transmitting plate 5 and the keeping member 7. Air communicating gaps P0 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the frame body 2 and as well as rain drop baffle plates 2A, which are large enough to cover the gaps P0 and to leave air communicating gaps P1 in order to communicate the upper and side spaces of the plates 2A to the space part 8, are fitted on the bottom of the space part 8 so as to communicate the space part 8 to the open air through the gaps P0 and P1. Because the pressure within the space part 8 is equal to the ambient air pressure owing to the communication through the gaps P0 and P1, the intrusion of water through the upper sealing member 6 part into the space part 8 due to pressure difference is eliminated and even the rain water intruded into the space part 8 for some causes or other is immediately drained by gravity.
