Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a method which can perform a colorful decoration firing in all parts of a concave region, by a method wherein a painting is performed on concavities in an aluminium sheet or product by a transfer. CONSTITUTION:A pattern is printed on an aluminum surface 1 with corrosion resisting ink to cover a part of the aluminium surface 1 with a corrosion resisting pattern 2, and an uncovered part is etched with an alkali solution such as sodium hydroxide to form (a) a concave region. After the concave part 3 is anodic-oxidated, a porous anodic oxidation film 7, consisting of an amorphous gamma-Al2O3, is formed (b), a transfer sheet 8 is firmly adhered (c) to the concave part 3, and hole parts in the film 7 are dyed (d) with a dystuff in a transfer ink layer 9. The holes in the film 7 are sealed to form (e) a gamma-Al2O3.H2O film 11. Then, the corrosion pattern 2 and the transfer ink film 9 are removed to obtain a product. The film 7 may be previously dyed, a transfer may be made on the convex part also, and other various methods can be employed.
