Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve coating operability and to form a back-coating layer which has excellent strength, by adding a liquid epoxy compound to back-coating paint made by bonding a nonmagnetic material to a specific binder. CONSTITUTION:A back-coating layer, formed by bonding nonmagnetic powder, such as alumina powder, having >=6 Mohs' hardness to a binder which contains a vinylidene chloride copolymer, contains a liquid epoxy compound. As this liquid epoxy compound, an epoxy compound in a cyclic aliphatic system such as 3.4-epoxy cyclohexyl methyl-3.4-epoxy cyclohexane carboxylate is used by 0.1- 20wt% and favorably 1-10wt% for the whole binder.
