Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep hydraulic pressure constant by changing the position of a valve spring by liquid, the volume of which is changed depending upon the temperature. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature rises, liquid 7 is expanded, so that a valve spring 8 is pushed to the right through a retainer 14. When the valve 9 moves to the right to reduce the area of an escape hole 10 so as to lessen the quantity of oil which is about to escape in large quantities through the escape hole 10, because a temperature rise causes the density and viscosity of oil to lower, whereby pressure P is kept constant. When the temperature falls, since the volume of liquid 17 is contracted, the valve spring 8 and the valve 9 are pushed by oil pressure to move to the left, so that the opening area of the escape hole 10 is changed corresponding to the temperature, whereby pressure P of the oil is kept constant.
