Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable extensive and highly precise measurement by arranging the second attenuating part, a tuner and the first attenuating part between a signal to be measured and a level meter and by enabling setting of an attenuation amount of the attenuating parts by means of an attenuation amount selecting part. CONSTITUTION:The second attenuating part 2, the tuner 3 and the first attenuating part 4 are provided between the signal 1 to be measured and the level meter 6 and connections are made so that the attenuation amount of the attenuating parts 2 and 4 can be set arbitrarily in a range from a small value to a large one by means of the attenuation amount selecting part 7 having a display part 8. And, the attenuation amount of the first attenuating part 4 alone is set at a value increasing sequentially to a prescribed attenuation amount, and when an amount to be set exceeds the prescribed value, the attenuation amount of the second attenuating part 2 is set at a value increasing sequentially, while the attenuation amount of the first attenuating part 4 is left to be set at a maximum. Accordingly, an input to the tuner 3 is not attenuated when an inputted level is low, while the inputted level is lowered when it is high, and thereby the meter 6 can be operated stably in an extensive and proper range.
