Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely perform the judgement of goodness or not of gas cocks by measuring flow rate at the time of specified pressure loss.
CONSTITUTION: The gas cock Y to be tested is connected from a pressure gas source by way of a governor Z, pressure control valve V, laminar flow meter A. The opening ratio of the valve V is gradually increased and when it reaches the preset pressure valve, the flow rate of that time is sensed by the laminar flow meter A. The differential pressure thus detected is converted C to an electric signal. After the amplification, the pressure is converted to a flow rate value by the built-in arithmetic circuit and the flow rate value is transmitted to a digital panel meter E which then displays the flow rate of that time. The input signal in parallel with the meter E is supplied to a digital setter F. In the setter F, a lower limit value is set, whereby the judgement of goodness or not by the flow rate is accomplished.
